This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on verifiedadviser.co.uk, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in the same way. In this policy we refer to all of them as "cookies".
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, we only use cookies that are strictly necessary without asking you first. Everything else is off until you agree to it.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
Whatever you choose, we count clicks on adviser profiles and map loads in an anonymous way that stores nothing on your device.
Some adviser profiles include content from other providers. We only load this content if you allow "External media" in your cookie settings, or click to load it. These providers may then set their own cookies, which they control:
We load fonts from Google Fonts and the carousel used on some pages from the jsDelivr content delivery network. Neither sets cookies, but, like any website you visit, they receive your IP address so they can deliver the files to your browser.
Links to our Facebook and LinkedIn pages are plain links. Those sites do not set cookies through our website unless you follow the link.
